Emeco is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Boilermaker to join our team. You’ll use your know-how to scope, plan, and deliver high-quality repairs and rebuilds across our fleet, while motivating your team to get the job done safely and on time.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a crew with the support of the workshop manager
- Acting as a key resource for problem solving, offering guidance and support
- Providing training and mentoring of apprentices
- Reading and working from drawings and job specs
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager to schedule jobs, plan workloads, and ensure resources are in place.
- Coordinate the scheduling and ordering of parts and materials to keep jobs on track.
- Maintain OEM standards and compliance with company and client requirements.
What you’ll bring:
- Full Australian working rights – visa sponsorship not available
- Australian-recognised trade certificate in Boilermaking/Fabrication
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and problem-solve work schedules
- Experience with heavy fabrication, repairs, & refurbishment of Heavy Mining Equipment
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Current Australian driver’s licence (mandatory)
